ASPR membership fee

May I remind you of your ASPR membership fee payment for the current year, from January through December 2007? The Annual Basic Membership Fee is JPY 2,500 per person for those who are 40 years old or younger and JPY 5,000 for those over 40. However, for those who are 40 years of age or younger and living in developed countries, the ASPR office would like to encourage you to support the ASPR by paying JPY 5,000 instead of the reduced fee of JPY 2500. The ASPR was just inaugurated in 2005 and we urgently need funds to develop the ASPR, hopefully to be the counterpart of similar societies in Europe and the USA.

Privileges of the ASPR member for the year of 2007
Those who are the members of the ASPR will be privileged to become an affiliate member to the SPR: you can present your work in PAS meeting on your own without the trouble of finding sponsors. It is of particular importance for those who are planning to attend the 4th ASPR meeting in Hawaii as it is to be held jointly with PAS. The annual fee for the year of 2007 is to cover the period during which abstract submission will be made for the ASPR-PAS conjoint meeting in Hawaii.

Your gracious donation needed

The ASPR office would also like to take this opportunity to ask for your gracious donation of JPY 5,000 in order to support the ASPR. It would come to a total amount of JPY 10,000 along with non-reduced annual fee. The fund will be used to support the awards such as "Young Investigator's Awards" and "Travel Awards" for those from developing Asian countries.
